Supercharger kit

I'm wanting to think about, once I get the cash, adding a supercharger kit to my 04 Expy. A Lightning expedition to so to say . I've found these:

http://allen-superchargers.com/Expedition/03-04.html
http://www.btgmotoring.com/Merchant2...D_WPL_FORD_24V

You guys have a recommendation on a particular company/model? What else would I need to add in to make the truck run without breaking? (Like shearing a drive bolt or something :P)

I'm also going to be adding a flow master dual exhuast kit so it can breath out as well as it will be in.

Looking for inputs, thx .

BTW, it's an 04 Expedition Eddie Baur 5.4L V8.

Go with the Whipple kit! Much better kit.
My first kit on my truck was the Allen kit. It is a nice kit but the blower is very small and only comes with 5 PSI of boost.

Mark, can you give some links or info your supercharge setup? I really am not looking for super drag performance or modifying my whole vehicle, it's more a "I can, and it cool" thing :P. Where did you get your harley setup? I looked at those whipple kits, but I don't see an 04 version. Only 05-06. guess 03-04 was different

If the 04 X is a 2V then I would suggest the same thing.
You'll save some money and its very easily upgradeable!
That's what I'm running on my truck with a ton of upgrades,,,,lol.
You'll need a kit like this. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...157951334&rd=1

Then most of this kit from Mike. And a tune for you computer.

super chargers

Here are a couple other options

Kennebell
http://www.kennebell.net/supercharge...r-selector.htm

Vortech
http://www.vortechsuperchargers.com/...rd+Truck%2FSUV

Powerdyne
http://www.powerdyne.com/f150.html

Just a few other options

I'm running a Vortech V1 on my Modded 94 Gen 1 lightning 357 windsor with a mass air system. 13 to 15 lbs of boost no problem.
For the 5.4 I listed the systems in my order of preference.

hope it helps
Mike

But I know a guy who ran 14.99 with an AED kit at 5 psi
Then he put a built motor in with ported heads and H P cams .K B blower kit at 8 psi and ran a 15.6 something.......

Happy Holidays Phil
