Keeping your Bull Bars clean?

I've been tossing around the idea of getting a Westin Bull Bar for the front of my truck. My biggest worry right now would be keeping it clean, between the bugs in the summer and all the "grime" that comes with winter driving here in the northeast, I'm wondering how much of a pain it is to keep it clean and scratch free. I'm looking at my windshield now and I must have 10 million bugs smashed on it, I can't imagine cleaning that mess off a chrome bull bar.

Put a good coat of wax on it in the Spring and in the Fall. The wax will make removing the bugs and grime easy!

I just put my on in August and waxed it when I put it on. i haven't had any problems getting the bugs or road grime off the bull bar.
