found instructions only 1999 models use the new links that eases my mind a little but after reading instructions may have not done a few things right better go ahead and have it checked by the pros and dont mean 4wheelparts if you want to hear my story on that message me its kind of long but interesting and just enough to **** anyone off.
I'm in the process of a 6-inch that I bought used. Nobody has any information on any lifts it seems like. I have part #'s that nobody can recognize, and 6 gold anodized srips that are in pairs, in 3 different thicknessess that nobody knows what they are.

77hiboyboy, the plates you are talking about are spacers. They are supplied with the kit if your truck has a center drive shaft bearing, I hope you measured your trucks height prior to the disassembly. For my truck an F350 it requires 1/4" of shim for each inch of rear lift. Rember that a 6" lift may not give you a true 6" it can be more or less depending on the kit. Good Luck
I have a regular cab, no carrier bearing. No wonder I couldn't find anything that even came close to resembling where that went to. I didn't measure, just pulled my old lift off and if I can come close to being level and align I will be happy. My old slip-yoke on the rear is loose and I figured if I needed driveline modification now would be the time to do it. I probably should have measure because its looking more like an 8 inch as I go. I was foolish for buying a used lift, but the story changed after I bought it. Turns out instead of him upgrading for the 8 inch lift after he bought it, this 6 inch came with the pickup. I think I did alright on the price and have some room to work with. Pickup had a leveling kit and 305's on it. This is right after getting the front springs bolted up and dropped back to earth.
well im taking mine in for an inspection by a 4 wheel drive shop here ill let yall know what they say about the sway bar links tomorrow.any other ?'s yall want me to ask while im there let me know britton.wood@yahoo.com
Amen bender. With a (in my opinion) crappy stiff Pro Comp lift, my need for sway bars disappeared quickly. I pulled both of mine off, rides a little better but still keeps you puckered when you hit a bump in the road....
