remember you are driving a desiel, they need to get broken in, the more miles that are on the truck the better Mpg you will get, for the first 25,000 miles you wont be getting over 13mpg and that is normal, my budy gets over 20mpg and he is hitting 110,000 when he bought his powersroke new he was only getting 12 or less untill around 20K then at 60k he was getting 15 and at 80K he was getting 17.5
but a lighter foot and keeping the rpms under 2000 will help also coast as much as you can and have smooth slow acceleration at stop lights
