Fbilly420, Thanks for the kind words, I am currently working on my next write up, a few more days and it will be through. I have enlisted the help of some other members for this one. Pics will be in the first post instead of down the thread.
Ive hit 32 psi on the stock turbo in bone stock form by adjusting the wastegate. That thing on ebay is a joke. Go with ITP's OBA, or make one going to the depot. Honestly i got the ITP OBA, nice unit. 2 minutes to install, and puff no more SES.
The product he is describing, big boost is not a boost annhilator, the only thing it does is limit the air trigger to the waste gate. It is not designed to be used to limit defuling, but to get more boost from the turbo. It does the same thing as plugging the red line to the wastegate line, but for 70$. What a joke.
It is basicly an air pressure regulator and vents extra pressure before the MAP sensor.
That sounds like a boost leak to me. Are you sure it vents the extra pressure rather than only allowing a preset amount through? I may or may not be happy with that. I will have to reread the product description on that.
EDIT: OK, not to rain on anyone's parade but read through the ITP link Ron posted and watch the videos. I am not sure you can recreate this setup from Home Depot or wherever with off the shelf stuff. It does not appear to "vent" excess boost. I am very pleased with my OBA.

The ITP OBA does NOT vent extra pressure, it just regulates it. Like an air compressor regulator. You set it for 60psi it doesnt start venting air after 60psi, it just doesnt let it by.
My air compressor regulator will vent excess pressure when I turn it down. It has to go somewhere and back into the tank will not work. Other than that I think it works the same way. IOW, once set, it ought to work the same way.
I have my red line disconnected from the waste gate and my boost fooler installed and at WOT my boost gauge floats between 30 and 32 psi and have not had a ses light with it installed so if it is leaking boost i think it is only minimal and i dont mind it has alot better performance with it installed.

I figured that big boost thing was a joke. throttle body spacers eh, when I was at the strip with my truck some guy with an OBS was tryin to tell me I should put a throttle body spacer on...he was also baffled that I couldnt make boost in neutral and thought that 7.3s make 25-30psi stock....some peoples kids....ha
hard to make boost with any turbo in neutral... but our 7.3's do make 25 to 30 lb on a stock turbo but only under a load....the H2E will make up to 50 lb..
yea on the stock turbo, but not with stock tunes...unless im mistaken. either way I just ordered the OBA and a regulated return kit...since the canadian dollar is so good right now im on a bit of a parts spree.

So should I be looking for a leak at 18# stock no load WOT?
I have a T in the map line for now (incase you need to know)
3" PVC sewer end cap with a threaded plug..got a air reg. from the tool rack for air compressors..drilled and taped the hole using the drill and tap for my pyro gauge..the PVC fits right in the stock air intake hose where the ccv is..i un hook and plug map line fill the system to 35 to 40 psi and listen for the air around your IC, boots and turbo
