Need assistance
I am working on my uncle's 93 F 150 4x4 with the 4.9 Anyways I have replaced the spring hangers, new bushings, u bolts, a broken leaf spring, filler neck and more. Rust is the EVIL word here. I am in a slump. I am looking for the "spring seats" these are the plates that sit on top of the springs, and the U bolts PASS through. They are wrotted, and look like swiss cheese. Dealer wants 41.00 a peice for them, I have several good sets of the the 2-1/2" but I need some for the 3" springs. Any ideas where to get them? I have a wrecking yard looking for them, but not sure how thats going to work out. Any leads where to get them USED or New aftermarket.
