RMST Issues
OK fellas, I have searched a few different forums without success. I have noticed some very experienced folks here so I am interested in any replies or thoughts you may have...
The RMST; Dealer installed Code Alarm CA-530
The truck; 07 F-150 5.4
Issue; Remote start will continually restart the truck 5 times and then quit. This happens about 60% of the time other times it will function normally.
The dealer will not fix this and has basically told me to get f*ed after returnng my truck for a number of different dealer install problems. Yep, I reported them to Ford and filed a lawsuite (pain in the ***)

Found the issue.
Opened the dash under the steering column. The graound for the unit was screwed into a rusty dash support (truck is 4 months old how does this get rusty so quick?). I established a good ground and all is well.
Everything is vampire tapped into the harness = puke
