Normal oil pressure?
Hi guys,
Since I suck at searching the archives, I'll ask here. Seems whenever I search for something I end up getting about a zillion hits.
I'm going to get an aftermarket oil pressure guage for my 1992. What's the normal operating oil pressure? I want to make sure I get the right scale.
Also, I found a few places to tap in. One being the normal sending unit and the other on the oil feed line for the turbo. What are the normal pressures for those areas, or should they be the same?

Zero to 100....... The actual oil pressure is 10 at hot idle and 40-70 at 3000rpm.
If you use the OEM sender hole that is the best location as it is the end of the line....... If you have the electronic dash on that 92 there is a mod to make the O/P guage a reactive one .........
