Washer hose?

G'day,

This might seem like an odd question, but when I bought my new truck the hose from the washer bottle pump was not connected to the washer jet (and I've got just the one jet?). Of the hose that is there, there is a narrower tube from the washer bottle pump connected to a larger diameter hose. This larger hose has what looks like a copper hose end but nothing else. There appears to be another section of hose missing that connects from the larger hose to the washer jet - either that, or it's just all wrong and the whole thing needs replacing with the right stuff.

Once I get this missing bit of hose, what's the easiest way to connect it to the jet. Do I have to unscrew the panel between the windshield and the bonnet or do these jets easily pull out from the panel?

cheers

Mark

I am not sure about how the jet comes out of the panel, but I have had the panel out before and it's not as hard as it looks. Pulling the jet out of the panel might mess the paint up.

I think I would go to the junkyard and get the whole setup and then you will know how it goes together, and you will have everything you need.
