Custom Flairside Pic

I know its a dark pic, but I couldn't wait to show my 1980 flair on it's way to get exhaust. Hope I don't get booted out of the 80-86 forum as you have all been a great help over the years. As you can see I modified it to use a 96 front sheet metal and box.

I haven't been booted yet. Nice to see another good swap. What are you planning for a bumper?

I did the same front clip swap to my 1990 Bronco.

I modified some factory mounts to get the front bumper on to the frame,
It allows for more adjustment, however,
the earlier frame is slightly different than my 1990.

Maybe you can get an idea for yours from how I did mine,
Best of luck & Nice truck!

Thanks for the feedback, I have a factory 96 bumper I was planning on modifying the mounts for simmilar to Dragons. Hope to have it on soon. The hood is aftermarket steel from Reflexxions, expensive but I think it adds a lot to the truck. Some other mods in my gallery but more interior and 460 motor pics to come.

Are my eyes playing tricks or are those wheels the ones off the dodge SRT10 pickup?

No, your correct, thats what they are! 5x5.5 bolt pattern. I had to machine the front hubs to get them to fit and it's hard to tell in the pic but the dust caps stick out where the centercap should be.
