Angry '78 Ford 460

Looking for information on a 1978 Ford 460 custom Camper RV. Anyone know of any manuals that will fit this model so I can perform even the easiest of repairs and maintenance. I've never worked on an engine this old and need some guidance.

Thanks!

You should be able to pick up a manual like CHILTONS' in any auto parts supply store.

First of all, welcome to FTE. Second, just donate that 460 to me and you won't ever have to worry about working on it again.

I second Magees welcome, to FTE. I'd like to point out you are in a 1961 to 1966 FoMoCo F Series Forum. There is a forum specific to your 73-79 F Series truck right here at FTE Also. either way welcome to FTE . . . . [/

What you really want to look around for is a set of FoMoCo OEM Truck Shop Service manuals. They have everything anybody ever wants/ needs to know & can get into mind-boggling but truthful, highly accurate, details & Spec's.

Also 76 -77-78 & 79 are pretty much the same with an exception of 78-9 Body & Trim Manual, which most likely you would never use anyhow. . . .
