What brand were the ones in the engine now......... If they are not Motorcraft/Beru they are probably burnt up already. Azone has MC/Beru for $9 each or less..... these are the ONLY one's to use........

Visit........ http://www.members.shaw.ca/k2pilot/ and read about the other GPs....

Talking autozone glow plugs

Just wanted to let you know if you go to autozon.com and enter zd9 into the search window it will list motorcraft/beru ZD-9 glow plugs for $2.99 each. For some reason if you search using motorcraft or the truck info. only other brands are shown not the ZD-9s that you want. I ordered a set of 8 ZD-9s for my truck on Saturday for $23.92 plus tax and shipping.

Good luck, Jim

Did you check for an open circuit in the glow plugs, or did you just do a visual inspection?

I think it is possible, but something else that can happen, is a bad connection at the main engine harness, at least thats the case with the my 86. Might be worth checking all the connections all the way back to the battery before gettning a new controller.

The controller times its operation by risistance in the curcuit, so anything extra will reduce the glow heat.
