I havent really got to test it yet `cause im at work but i get off at 11pm so i`ll see how she does on my way home. Its "only" 55 miles one way so i should get a pretty good feel of it! I`ll post up what i think of when i get home.
drove it around the block one time and never got out of 3rd gear or over 35 mph, didnt really notice any difference, im sure i will when i hit the interstate tonight!
Do you have any other mods and/or tuner/chip? Once you get those it will make your turbo really sing!! You might also consider removing the hot-side I/C pipe insulation if you like da' whistle...
yeah i was wondering what the "foil delet" was i will do that in the morning! Thanks for the info
Make sure you get the gasket remover stuff, I used wd-40 and it was a pain in the a$$.
ok im assuming a 6637 is an airfilter from what i gathered. But who makes it? I got a K&N and it blows. I wanna upgrade.
AKA the kwik mod. 6637 is the part number of a filter that a lot of us here use. Fleetfilter.com or Napa #46637. It requires some modification to your intake system, but well worth it. IMO

Yes, the 6637 is an air filter. You can get it at fleetfilter.com and you just pull your existing air box out and put the end of the rubber intake hose on the filter. There is pry more info if you do a search for it.
You can also see the I/C tube with the foil crap cleaned off. I used Sol-U-Strip from Lowes after peeling it. Took about 90 mins or so for the whole job. Here's the thread I started back when I did mine: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/5...nsulation.html

It also helps to get a 4" long piece of 4" exhaust pipe, put the exhaust pipe in the filter, it will only go in about an inch and half. the attach your intake hose to the other end of the exhaust pipe and use the factory hose clamp to tighten it, some people complain of the intake hose coming off the filter, the exhaust pipe just prevents this.
