I think my brother just traded his in for a V-Star 1100. Not sure why, he seemed to like the shadow. I have a Yamaha Warrior myself and love it.

I got a 2001 shadow ACE 750 and a 94 shadow 600 (50k on it). Both are great bikes and are very reliable. I have seen those sabres to and really like them. In my opinion you really can not go wrong with a Honda motorcycle.

In 1983 I had a Honda V65 Magna. When you twisted the throttle, you had better be hanging on tight! I loved that bike. Stoplight to stoplight and on the open road it would eat everything. I miss those days.

Wasn't that the fastest production bike for a while when it first came out? I rode one many years ago and it was a handful, alright.

Given the chance to buy a Shadow about a year ago, I would have jumped all over it. My choice- I think- would be the Shadow Spirit, though. It just seems like there is so much more you can do to it. The Sabre is gorgeous, though. The custom market is getting to be as big as the HD market, which is also a good thing. My favorite Shadow is the Aero. I told the dealer if there were a 1100 option for the Aero, I would have bought it instead of the VTX. The Aero seems to be the most retro looking bike that Honda makes. Check it out:

Once I get a few additions put on my VTX, I'll post a picture or two. Here is my model:

I work at a motorcycle shop and we deal with all used bikes. Majority of our cruisers were shadows. very reliable bikes and some times you can find ones that are all tricked out. If i was to buy a cruiser it would be a shadow of some sort.
