plug gap- ignition upgrade
Just recieved my Pertonix ignitor and coil. I have a new set of BF-42c's ready to put in. The points required .032-.036 plug gap,what has other people doing this change gapped their plugs at? This is a stock 360 2bbl. t-18 ,low rpm use work horse. Thx woody

Because you got the coil too, you should bypass the resistor wire that's under the dash. I didn't bypass it at first and she wouldn't start well with a 45 gap then I ran a new wire from the switch to the coil and was able to change the gap from 35 to 45.
You might want to leave the old resistor wire there just in case you ever need it again.
