Replacement fuse kit
Anyone know of a good kit of replacement fuses for the later Super Duty's? I got a cheap set at Pep Boys, but I don't know what the difference is between what Ford calls the fuses and what Littel Fuse calls them. Is the JCAS the same as the Ford cartridge? The mini's are pretty obvious. I think I got the right ones, but not certain. Just looking for some boondock coverage, not a complete mechanics set.

As far as I know there is really only 3 types of blade fuses. The regular ones, the mini and the maxi. I bought myself a small tackle box and filled it up with all kinds of blade fuses in all sizes/amps along with a bunch of spade, ring, and fork terminals, and splice connectors. It's amazing how often I end up using stuff out of that kit.

Yeah, I have a similar toolbox. Got a DVM, a bunch of connectors, some fuses now, heat shrink, etc. Definitely good stuff to have. My fuse problem turned out to be a short in the cab light harness. Took it to Ford to have them fix it since they put it in. Now I'm without a truck tonight...
