F350 Dash Knockout Plug
On the center panel of my dashboard (2002 F350) there is an oval knockout plug to the left of the little cubbyhole thing. I just installed a pair of rear facing fog lights under the bed on the hitch frame. I’m using the rocker switch that came with the lights, and it fits in that knockout spot ok, but this is just temporary.
Is there a switch designed specifically to fit there? If not I guess I can get a new toggle switch and drill a mounting hole in the knock out plug, but I was hoping for a more professional looking install. I’ll get a picture of how it looks now with my camera phone when I go to lunch and post it this afternoon.
Thanks all
Peter

That knockout is designed to hold the adjustable pedals switch. Unfortunately it's a momentary switch, so you cannot use that switch... I used the knockout and drilled two holes in it. One for a flush mount LED and the other for a small DPDT toggle switch. Both for my homemade EBPV/Exhaust Brake switch and indicator.
