My ignition module burnt up on my 360. A friend of mine brought me a new one and I was wondering if it would work. Mine has 4 prongs on one plug and three on the other. The one he brought me has four prongs and 2 prongs. He told me the third prong was just a ground and it would work just fine. Anybody know if this is true? Any info would be helpful. Thanks

Do both modules have the same color wires going to the same pin locations on the two connectors?

Is the missing wire blue?

He came over and hooked it up...it worked fine.On the connecter he cut the red wire and connected the brown wire I believe. Thanx for your help.
