dump kit
Most of the bed inserts have the same limitation.
Funny thing is, a real dump bed only cost a very little more.

I did the install myself, and I only have 2200 dollars in this one.
It will dump up to 7 tons in 30 seconds.
Granted I did install it 10 years ago though, so prices are probably higher now.
It had everthing including the #4 wire to run to the electric over hydraulic pump from the battery.
The 8' x 9' flatbed was 800 dollars complete with lights.
I added the sides, and replace the stock control box with dash mounted switches for up and down.
I added the channels to hang under bed tool boxes off of and to level out the frame for the subframe to sit level.
I have dumped over 9700 pounds, the bed went up like it was empty.
I have a friend with an insert, it would not raise with 2000 pounds in the insert even when it was new.
I can also say that I have hauled and dumped thousands of tons since it was new, one of the handiest things I added to my truck.
If I were doing it again, I would get a headache rack with verticle sides so it was easier to install the sides.
I got a deal on one that had angled in sides on the headache rack, but when I haul trash the 4 foot side board are a pain.
I wound up welding on some 1" angle iron that the sides set in when installed to keep them from flapping after you dump or spreading while you load it.

The hoist was made by Rugby Mfg. but I don't have an address for them.
The bed was made in Indiana, by I don't have a name for the factory there either.
