Headrest

Hey folks, I bought my Screw about 4 weeks ago and love it...the only thing I really can't stand is the fact that on the bottom of the front seat headrest the upholstery wont stay clipped together. If I let the headrest up, about the second time I lean against it it'll come unclipped then just hangs down looking cheap. I know I could glue it together but was wondering if anyone else had this problem. Whit....If it ain't burnin' it aint hot!!!

Headrest

I picked up my screw late Feb 02, after having the headrest's up for about two weeks they also fell apart. Dealer replaced covers under warranty today, we'll see how long this lasts. Dealer cost to replace covers was $617 (two covers & 1 hr labor), I wouldn't believe it but they showed me their parts invoice!

Headrest

I have the same problem. 1 front and 1 rear came apart after two weeks. This was in Feb. I have not seen the dealer about warranty yet.

Well 2 day's later (now Saturday) & headrest covers (both sides) came apart AGAIN! We'll be calling the dealer Monday.

Headrest

just got 02 super crew about a month ago and had the same thing happen to the head rest. we have cloth seats just wondering if you other guys are having the problem with cloth or leather? anyway i snaped mine together once and it pop right back apart in about a day. i have not talked with my dealer but i took it on my self by snaping it back together and ran 2 little screws thur the area where it snaps together i just thought this was a easier fix than dealing with warranty but i will talk to my dealer about it maybe they will just cut me a check for 617.00 for the fix hahahhahah. wow is this a great site .

Just back from the dealer. They are now ordering me new headrests. I have med graphite cloth seats.

Yep, you know it, clothe seats, I'm gonna go to the dealer Monday morn and raise some cain. I tried some weatherstrip adhesive (stickest stuff I know and it lasted maybe a week then came loose again). Funny how the back seat doesnt do this. Whit
