odd idle

odd idle

was sittin in the drive threw for the BK lounge today and had the radio off and got to hear the truck really well echoing off the board there... heard and felt a rough idle goin on no lnocking or anything just seemed like the timing is off or that cam sensor was out is there an easy way to tell or is that something im gonna have to go see a mechanic about please help im worried about the beast.... o yea 99 7.3 f350 SD almost 160k miles

I'm with ryaneverk2 on this one too.

My truck will do the same when it is hot outside, the motor is warmed up and I'm due for an oil change. The oil in these trucks works overtime. I've noticed with mine, when approaching oil change time, the driveability is a tiny bit different. It's so small that only I can tell because I know my engine.

If it seems a little worse after the engine warms up, that's where I would start.

just did one not more than a month ago used amsoilthe diesel blend5w-40.. i have a friend and her dad is an amsoil dealer/rep for them goies on tour and stuff pretty cool job if i might say
