Does anyone have good used, or new, rubber plugs to fill the hole where the door switches for the dome light go? Mid-Fifty said they were going to make them but its been several years and I haven't seen them.
I try to keep my truck like the plain Jane it was (Standard Cab) and will not put door switches in but I want the hole plugs.
I haven't seen any specific plugs to fit door switch holes; have you considered nylon plugs ? I'm thinking there must be some that will finish out flat; or how about plastic plugs used for fastening plastic cowl mouldings to frame or late model plugs that go into floor area of newer model vehicles ?
You can get chromed metal plugs in various sizes at a plumbing supply house, and black rubber push in plugs at an automotive supply or McMaster-Kerr. I picked up a plastic organizer box of varoius sizes of rubber grommets and plugs on ebay.
