Question sputtering?

Well I got my truck back yesterday with a new turbo in it. It ran great for a while, turbo noise was back to normal, top end power is 100% better. But the white smoke is getting worse at startup, especially after pulling it hard.
Then I hooked up the trailor today let it warm for about 10 and left the house and it would hardly accelerate and it felt like a very light sputter in power and noise from the exhaust.
After 10 blocks it went away so i drove to my first job and i was there for only 20 min before i was done. So when I started my truck it was still warm and it started smoking white right away. It usually only dose this when its cold and as soon as i touch the gas it goes away, but this time it had a light sputter to it, it was a very heavy amount of smoke, and it kept doing it at any rpm just sitting there in park for a couple of minutes.
After it stopped it has been slightly underpowered the whole way home, usually to accelerate even loaded i never have it to the floor to get it to speed but i needed to today, but once it got to the desired speed it would hold it no problem. The new turbo sounded fine the whole time and no more farts! what do you think?

that sounds like a egr valve issue.

I disconnected it and haven't seen a difference yet, is there a chance its locked in a the wrong position?
I cant see it being bad since it was just replaced about 350 miles ago. Could the cooler itself be bad?

chunks of carbon can stick a egr valve open, which will mean your egr cooler will need replacing. the carbon over time builds up in the cooler and can float into the egr valve.

Well I just did some looking under the hood and Im guessing i found the problem. The little sensor on the air box that tells you when the filter needs to be replaced was complety hanging out of the air box,. After that I looked around some more and found a vacume hose hanging too!!! I tell you it is sad that there are some people around like that can't do quality work. Bring on the tunes Matt! Screw the warranty, from now on im doing everything myself. Truck ran alot better after hooking those things back up. Cooler will get deleted pretty soon too..
Thanks everyone for all your help!
