Im messing around with my shift press? By the way does shift press mean how firm the truck will shift? because right now it kinds of jerks when it shifts with AGG. Street. Anyways, it gives shift press 1-2, 2-3, then goes 3-5, 5-6. Why is there no 3-4 4-5??

Yes shift pressure is directly related to shift firmness.
The Torqueshift is a 6-speed transmission and selects 5-gears to use based on engine & transmissin temperature and load. Normal shift pattern for a warm engine and transmission is 1-2, 2-3, 3-5, 5-6, this is why these are the shift parameters you are allowed to change on the SCT.
With a cold engine and transmission the shift strategy is 1-2, 2-3, 3-4, 4-6
Your transmission feels a bit jerky because it is relearning. Do a series of accellerations from a dead stop at 1/4 throttle, 1/2 throttle, 3/4 throttle and wide open throttle. After 15-20 miles you should be good to go and the jerky part should be a lot more smooth but still have firm shifting. There is a thread on this in the 6.0L Tech Folder.
yes remember your tranny will go into relearn mode after a flash and shift funny/jerky for a minute. i usually find a nice straight road and do a series of runs up to about 60.
starting off with 1/4 throttle pass, then a half throttle pass, then a full throttle pass like was stated above. i had matt set my shifting rather firm anyway, but my tranny and converter are built to handle it
Yes. Every time you reprogram your truck it will go through a relearn. After you reprogram the tranny shift pressures then drive it for 5 cold restarts. I think you'll find it softens up some after reprogramming. Even if you do the tranny relearn procedure in the tech manual it still changes some. You don't want it too soft like stock shifts. Crisp is the best way to describe it. It's better for it to be firm and crisp than mushy (stock) as mushy is what kills your tranny. Some people think the firm/hard shifts are bad when in reality that is what saves your tranny.
