The one thing that bothers me, this goes for tent trailers too, is the tiny little wheels. They just do not seem like they would hold up to highway speeds.

It looks to be mounted solidly in the receiver. What happens if you drive through a dip or down a driveway? Would that wheel assembly bottom out? Would the deck pivot up?

Exactly what I was thinking. If you go up a steep incline of a drive way or something, is it going to bend it up?

It's probably hinged on the vertical plane.

It's like a wheel barrow in reverse! Can we say keep it in the center!

These were around in 40s and 50s mostly. I own 2 vintage single wheel trailers. They are cool from a vintage point of view, such as behind a classic car, but they are unpractical for any real use. They attach to the car at 2 points so there is no pivot at the hitch, but the turning is all in the swivel wheel. You drive the opposite as a regular trailer by taking corners tightly as opposed to swinging wide. They are a trip to drive.

For the single wheel units, I have seen similar things going down the road. The single wheel was shimming like crazy. I would be afraid of too many what if's with this set up. Heck a two wheel trailer is so cheep now days, just be safe and go with that.
