suspension

ok as you all know I have a 1981 ford F-f150 I would like to but a lift kit under it. I am stuck I dont know if I want a 2" or 4" lift. I guess i a 4" lift really highbecause pennsylvania has rule your bumber can only be so high off the pavment or you could get a fine and I dont know if i want to go with a 2" because it might not be high enough i just need some help on choosing just give me input please.

Give us a call at Rough Country we have both a 2 and a 4 inch lift for that truck at the right price too.

I have a 6" Skyjacker on my 1980 F150 and it is still under the legal limit with 35" Pro Comp MT tires. I live in Greensburg PA and have not been pulled over once. An inspection mechanic told me as long as it is not higher than 31" to the bottom of the bumper it is ok. Mine sits at 30" with that setup.

I will try and get one if i can borrow a camera from a friend (mine broke). They will probably be crappy because I have the motor/trans out right now but you will get the idea.
