Talking fuel gauge problem solved

thank you FTE members, especially the guy that mentioned that most of the 1956 dash gauges were 6 volt and required a voltage reducer to allow them to function properly. I spent the better part of a day and a half checking sending units, grounds, wiring ect. visited FTE ,read all the posts on this subject,installed a reducer as advised. gauges now work perfectly. Once again thank you .
