Ive been looking at trannys for my 2002 f250. Mine keeps sucking fluid but isnt really acting up yet. But i just put a juice with attitude and evolution stacked on my truck. I pulled the evolution off and am now just running the juice. Does any one else run this. If so how does your transmission act? Will it handle this?
What do you mean by sucking fluid? If you need a trans, it depends on where you live, since there are a few places i would go, but i can't drive to most of them.
I dunno. I just had it serviced last week and they told me it was two quarts low. They said to keep an eye on it. So I checked it tonight and it was a quart low. But I cant find any leaks?

Tranny oil goes somewhere. Look for it either on the ground or along the tranny or bottom of the truck.
Pull the fill plug on your transfer case and see if it's overfilled.
I heard somewhere that the vent tubes are tied together on the automatic 4x4 and in a case like yours it ends up in the TC.

Interesting...I just helped my neighbor pull his NV3700 tranny and NV transfer case out of a 96 GMC. When I drained the tranny there was about a pint of gear oil in it (should be a gallon). When I pulled the rear driveshaft out of the transer case there was a gusher! The rear tranny seal went and it pumped it through the front transfer case seal...then the tranny ate the input shaft bearing.
