I am looking to install guages on my 2004 6.0. What guages are the most important, Diesel Manor sells a set that has a pyro, boost and trans.guage are these the important ones?
I run 3 and I believe that it should be EGT - Tranny Temp and Oil Temp
I actually would swap out oil temp and go with water temp, I know the argument for oil temp and I can see the point of it but to me it is more useful with water temp(that is debatable I know, but I do prefer water temp over oil). If the 04s came with a boost gauge then I don't think you need the boost as on mine it appears to be fairly accurate(I just wish the range of display was more specific on them), however, the other two should be without question for an auto egts and tranny temp.

Those three are the most commonly installed, and are in fact the three I have in my truck. Be sure to really shop around for guages and make sure you get a style that you like and will be happy with.
yuppers, low fuel pressure is BAD for your injectors, and can also let you know when your filters are clogged, or maybe if you've done some mods they can let you know that it's time to upgrade your fuel system so you're not starving your motor for fuel
