engine swap!!
Hey guys I have a question. Did they ever have a 5.0 in our truck model? I have a 2000 f-150. They stopped using the 5.0 in 94 right? I want to make my truck into a lightning type truck with a stroker! I figured price wise the 5.0 is hard to beat and its small and light. But have to figure out if its going to fit and be a pain in the a$$! Thanks guys!!

They stopped using the 5.0 in 1996. 1997 was the first year our trucks started using the modular engines, the 4.2, 4.6, & 5.4.
Honestly your best bet is to buy a low mileage 5.4 and supercharge it with a roush charger. Or buy a crate motor. Thats just my opinion though.
