Fuel Question.
I have a question about an 03 Duramax. My friends Duramax runs fine except for when he goes to full throttle with it. It shifts fine and everything except for it just starts breaking up bad. I was wondering if it could maybe be the fuel filter? If not, what else could he look into? Thanks!

Seriously - as you said "filter" would be my first choice. Fuel quality next. My friend also has a duramax and he came over here one day and filled up with B5 soydiesel with premium fuel. He reported back a week later it was just like he was running racing fuel. It really pepped it up.
But seriously, I'd suspect the fuel pressure or turbo boost to drop in power at the higher rev's.
