Brake pads
Hey, i have a 94 ranger 4wd,and i currently just bought new front rotors now im looking for some good pads to go along with the rotors. What would you guys recommend??

I can't comment on those NAPA pads, they might be great. But since they banned asbestos I have been buying OEM pads at the dealer. For my Ranger the front pads were $58. The original set lasted almost 100K miles before the squealers started making noise. There was still about 1/4" left on them. Now, I don't do much towing and I try to anticiapte my stops so I don't get on the brakes hard except for the occasional idiot pulling in front of me or an animal in the road or the red light that changes at the last minute. But my wheels never get that black stuff on them and my brakes are always quiet. The double price is worth it in my opinion.

I got NAPA pads and rotors and they are noisy, squeech at each and every stop. My own fault for buying bottom dollar. They are not ceramic. I'm thinking to replace them with ceraminc even though they have only about 2500miles. You can have em if I do it.

Hey, i was wondering what people think about remanufactured calipers??i went and bought one today it was like 30 bucks all said and done for 1 of them.my stock ones where getting pretty beat up from off roading and the pistion was starting to leak on the stockers.
Would Rayestos quiet stop pads hold up to offroad and the heat the brakes put out or should i go to another store besides kragen and try and find some type of performance pad like EBC or hawk??
