Tranny Help??
I took off the tires in the rear and whilst on jack stands put it in 2wd ist gear auto tranny and was spinning the drive shaft and cleaning the rust off it. My son said hey dad where's that leak comming from? I said WTFRIG.
Come to find out the vent tube was spewing out tranny fluid. Now if you put it in park you get none. So whats the deal. I had a small leak that I couldn't find for years now I found it. I never have to add fluid normally. The truck was cold by the way. When I shut the truck off I could still hear gurgling from the vent..
