Mr Dave,
My truck is a 97 5.4. I was thinking I could get a way with 8-9lbs boost with out any problems. Would a pair of the Chrylser TE04H be good for that? Can you adjust the built in wastegate? I to want to build a cheap setup as my funds are few. If they are real small, maybe I could replace the 2nd set of cats with them?

Is it safe to put this system on a stock 5.4 engine ? Or should there be more things to change ?

I think it is as long as you dont get to high with the boost. I been under my truck alot this week. Their is a lot of room to locate the remote turbo. There is not a lot of room to run the tubing to the intake without getting it to close to the exhaust. I think that a Procharger maybe the easer setup. Now the problem of finding one at 1/2 price. I seen one new and in the box on e-bay (sold) 2 weeks ago. It went for $2295.00. That would have been mine. I e-mailed the seller 3 times to see which F150 5.4L it fit. He never did reply.

8-9 lbs would be pushing it on those turbos.

alright I have decided for several reasons that I will go single turbo with methonal/water injection. I found a t3/t4 hybrid, surflo made for cat w/regulator oil pump all the plumbing for the oil pump, a walbrol 255 fuel pump, a 2 pod A piller with carbon fiber A/F meter everything for $325. I will build my own meth injection kit with a purge siliniod from a nitrous kit I already have and pvc 4" pipe for the resivor all I will need to complete the kit will be a pump and a mist nozzel. I will still need a boost gauge, a waste gate, bov, rail mount fuel regulator, cone filter, a flange for the turbo, and the cold side tubing along with a couple of silicone elbows so for another 500 bucks I should be able to have the rest of the stuff I need to do this build
