My 96 is only a reg cab but I removed the dirty old headliner and gently peeled the factory covering off. (it came off very easily). Went down to the local fabric store and picked out some cool fabric (elephant suede) and thin foam. Then I went to the hardware store and got a can of 3M spray adhesive and a jiffy marker. Drew some flames on the foam and cut out, glued to stock headliner, then sprayed the back of the fabric and stretched over my flamed liner. Cheap and looks kick ***. I also removed some dash trim and used left over material to cover as well. My only problem was I didnt put enough glue on the fabric in spots for fear of it soaking through my material, but I will remedy that soon.
BEWOLD, I thought of that (your idea of flames is orignal) I'm in no hurry to do it now maybe this Winter. It could easily save me over $300.00 I could put somewhere else. Thanks.
Its an extra cost but i think some dynamat, or cheaper, some rocker gaurd on the roof would be a great idea too for extra sound control. (Boggers tend to be loud)
Actually I did neglect there are a few sets of womens foot prints up there that I look at from time to time and remember all the good times I had in this truck. Ahhh!
OOPs! I hope this isn't a family forum.
Relax BEWOLD it was just a joke I'm 50 years old. If I'm going to be with a woman it's going to be someplace more comfortable than a truck seat. Like on top of the refrigerator.
