Fuel Pressure gauge
I have had the gauge installed for awhile but never hooked it up because I was waiting on the isolator. I now have the isolator and it came with the inlet line and outlet line to gauge. The line to the gauge is filled with a liquid. I have heard that if I hook it up with air in line instead of the liquid that would smooth out the gauge readings. Is that true or just the opposite?
My question: Should I try it without the liquid first?
If that doesn't work what kind of liquid is in there?

I would contact the gauge manufacturer. They should be able to answer you questions. I've never run one without the liquid, but then I've never put one on a PSD, only fuel injected gas engines.

Neal, you need to use the liquid...the gauge will not give correct readings with out it.
The liquid is glycerin. Air is a compressible fluid and your Isolator is not designed to work with air in the line...
