Replacing plugs at 100k?

I changed mine and they were badly worn at 90,000.

I used wd-40 and soaked for 2 hours. the plugs still came out very slow.

Just to clear things up. The V10 and the 3V 5.4l use different plugs. On the V10 plugs there is no extended electrode or ground collar like the 3V 5.4l. I don't think you will have to worry about breaking off a V10 plug. If memory serves me correctly, the 3V V10 does not use the long plug like the 3V 5.4l. either.

The penetrating oil though is a good tip no matter which plugs you have.

I watched the Vid on the 5.4l 3V plug change. If I was Ford I would change that plug/head design in a hurry. You shouldn't have to worry about spark plugs breaking off in the head.
