I'm not going to say it's not the alternator, but my truck (2001 F250 with the camper special option) has 2 alternators, so which one is bad and why would they both go at the same time? Of course I'm not sure if they are connected in parallel or not.
I do agree it's not a bad relay but whatever is controlling the relay, but what is that???

Gawd I hate to admit this because I opened the flippin hood and tugged to check the batteries before anything else.
But
Loose negative. It didnt feel loose. He said he tightened the ever loving **** out of it and it lit right up.
End of story.
