well, that fire that happened in the truck wasnt as bad as i thought. i replaced the wire that caused it, and repaired or replaced the few wires it melted along with it.
now tho, my fuel level and oil presure gauges that i JUST GOT WORKING stopped... they pin out to max with key on. i just replaced the sending unit in the tank a couple months ago, so i know thats good. i read that there is a volt regulator in the dash? could this be my problem? maybe something to do with that burnt up wire? i looked all along the path of the wire and fixed anything that was melted, but none of the factory stuff looked dammaged. maybe i'll have to pull the dash out and look deeper?
