Idiot Light
Started the beast last night to come come, the battery idiot light came on. I assume this is actually the alternator shooting craps, as my batteries are less than a year old, so I headed for home, (half hour) canned all juice except headlights, made it ok. So, I'm thinking I can just check output at alternator with my meter, or do I have to pull it and have it tested? Or, am I missing something else?

Well I was right, but it was an easy change-out. Two Ben's at Autozone later, ouch. Checked ebay just now, coulda got a new 170 amp unit for about $40 cheaper, but I needed the truck back for today. Problem with having a daily driver.
