4x4 Conversion-Will This Work
I have access to a 1987 F250 straight front dana 60 axle and 1995 dually front hubs. It is my understanding that I can swap hubs and this front axle will go under my truck making it 4x4 and letting me use my stock dually rims. Is this right?
I have never seen a 4x4 dually. I take it that it uses leaf springs instead of my stock coils. The springs and shackles are all I need to bolt this in, right? Will the steering bolt up?
I am so excited because I want this truck to be 4x4 really bad. My experiences last winter were less than amazing. Any and all help is appreciated. I have never seen a 4x4 dually, so I am curious as to how it mounts.
