SCT Xcal3 Release
Just wanted to make a post and let everyone know that the new SCT Xcal3 has been released.
It is a similar unit to the Xcal2, but with an upgraded screen and highly upgraded datalogging capabilites (128 meg memory over the 16 meg memory of the Xcal2) and includes upgraded diagnostic code reading capability.
Our first shipment will be coming in on Tuesday. A note to anyone who has ordered from us today; you will be receiving the new upgraded unit

The XCal handhelds are just delivery mechanisms for the tunes (programming). And it is the tunes that people like Matt write that provide the performance gains.
From what Matt stated in his post, it sounds like all new orders will get the XCal3...which would mean the same price for the newer handheld.

Aww man, does this mean the Xcal2's are going to suffer a decrease in value? lol
Also, Matt check your PM's. I'm headed to the dyno tomorrow morning and would like to have the latest updated tunes!

I'm glad I drug me feet 'till today to order. Having said that, I am pee-down-my-leg excited to get it and play.
As for price, I consider the current price to be excellent. Too good in fact. I would happily pay more for a lifetime of tunes.
Now, if I could just get the DashHawk folks to get me a EGT probe...
