They are all three to high and unrealistic....At least consider private party value to trade value as a better indicator of what a vehicle should be selling for. Retail value is a joke and if I could sell vehicles for that amount I would change careers and live large. If car lots could sell for that they would be thrilled.
A vehicle's value is set by the market in which you are buying it. Use the books as a guide and not gospel. Look at eBay and see sell history for Excursions. This should give you an idea of where they should be money wise.
I purchased my last two vehicles from reputable eBay sellers in Texas and have never had any problems. Texas is covered up with trucks and suvs and you can buy cheaper than here in Tn. You can for about a $125 or so have the vehicle inspected if you need that to settle any butterflies. Buy it, fly down and enjoy the drive home.
FWIW -- I signed up for galves for 7 days, and requested a refund within 10 minutes of using it. I don't see any significant advantage over the free online ones.. namely KBB. KBB seems to be about right..
