carb problem

carb problem
got a 72 f-100 with a 360-2V in it. motor wanted to stumble just of idle so i rebuilt it.[the carb] still having the same problem.if i hold the choke closed about half way motor will not have the stumble .float level wrong?

So since it works good with the choke partially closed, cutting back on the air entering the carb, it is apparently running lean off idle........so it may possibly be a vacuum leak around the carb gasket or as already said the accelerator pump rod is not in the correct hole, so it isn't getting the fuel it needs to match the air coming in.
