i finaly got my aftermarket guages hooked up today. the oil preasure guage says 20 psi at idle and goes up as engine rpm increases. my question is is 20 psi a good preasure for it. i just thought it would be higher than that.

Mine stays at 25psi hot at idle and that is with a high volume pump. How much is it pushing max? I get about 80 pounds. Are you getting this pressure hot or cold? 20 psi is plenty at idle but you want to check the reading after the engine is completely warmed up.
i didnt run it long, just long enuff to make sure i didnt have any leaks in the tube after the install. so it was still cold. ill let yall know what my preasure is when it is hot. it might be a while because i have to fix my bnrakes befor i can drive the truck.
