Body paint
I'm curious about paint schemes for the 48-50 F1's; I think in Canada the Mercury had black fenders , with the various colors available for the year. Was this done in the USA as well ? Was this an option ?

I don't know if this is a option or not but I like the look of a 2 tone truck. Even if a person does it in one color I believe the running boards should be painted black. I like the 2 tone b/c it breaks the truck up some and give's it a great look. Post some pics of your truck.
