where is this truck located?? im not going to try to buy it out from under you or anthing, but its interesting to see where the rust free trucks in NY come from.
I bought a 1970 F-250 from a guy in the LA area for $2500. Was very pleased with the quality of the vehicle and the overall condition. 99% rust free.
By the time I got it to Louisiana, I had about $3100 invested in it.
But it has a special history, it came from Kalifornia.
Rust free Kalifornia vehicles you will not find if on the coast.
Call it a shake down trip or a getting close to your truck kind of thing.
Congrats treat it well.

Actually I have a cousin who lives in the Land of Fruit & Nuts. I found it, he went and looked it over for me,paid the seller and had his two sons deliver it to me to Louisiana.
I bought their gas and plane tickets back to the Land of Fruits & Nuts.
Love the truck, but I now had a "Project".
With a 390, it get 10 mpg. Does have air, is an automatic with front disc brakes.
1965 2+2
Depending on the gearing you should get better mileage than that, I could break into 15 mpg driving 62 mph maximum with a 414 with C6 and 3.54 gears on 32.5" tires. Just flat driving i'll see 13.2 mpg all the time.
Many people joke about my state of California including I at times, i'm a proud native besides enjoying the weather, high wages and the ocean that's less than 10 miles away.
