I agree, they seem kind of overkill, but way cool nonetheless... You'd probably have a hard time finding a place to mount it too since its a bigger unit...

My v10 has a block heater. It is great during the winter since my drive is only 2.5 miles. Makes a warm drive on -30degree days.

Ya i know the feeling i had a short drive and my truck wouldnt be warm before i got their usually. unless i plugged it in and let it idle for 1/2 hour before! ya looks allot better in the more recient pictures.. almost to nice to put on anything i own..

I have a small restoration/paint shop. Don't normally do stuff like this bracket, but whatever they want.

I bought late last year for my v10, but I haven't installed it yet.I really like the plug options shown here, I was thinking of doing something similar but install it in the step board, just under the drivers door... I have a fear of forgetting to unplug it.

Sorry I missed your reply earlier, If you have a 7.3, I'd keep looking, there should be a cord for the block heater. Look on the driver's side of the block and see if you can find the block heater. If you have that, keep going, the cord's in there somewhere.
