Exclamation Pleeez Help

I have a '93 Ranger 3.0l v6 auto with a series of issues I can't figure out. It starts and stops immediately. Then I start it again and it fires up but runs rough. It's mysteriously loosing oil but shows no signs of leaks anywhere nor is it blowing any black or blue. The engine revs high and low when I hold the accellerator in the same position. Now the knocking and pinging is brutal with 87 octane fuel. Ive replaced all plugs, leads, K&N air filter, fuel filter etc but now have to go through the process of elimination with oxygen sensors ect. Any ideas?

James (desperate)

Get some MAF cleaner and clean that since you said you had a K&N they will gum up the mass air especially if you over oil. I would clean the Idle air bypass too since that's probably gummed up too! Let's start there since it's pretty cheap, 1 can of maf cleaner 1 can of carb cleaner for the Iac. Get back to us after that

Thanks so much for responding. I have cleaned the MAF but not the Idle Air bypass motor. Will do so right away
