Fuel Pump Trouble

<TABLE><TBODY><TR><TD vAlign=top width="100%">My 86' F250 6.9 L won't pump fuel to the injectors, I just put another injector pump on it and I am having the same issue. There is fuel being pumped to the injector pump, but from there nothing. I did have a 7.3L, and I am using the 7.3's harmess, but they had the same pump connections. Any help???

Open air test one of the injectors! Look out for hypodermic injection keep it pointed in a safe direction, crank the truck and see what you get. Air is compressible if there is any in the lines it could be holding the fuel back.

Still Frustrated

I've tried that and nothing comes out, so I tried it with all of them and got nothing, I'm not sure else what to do.

Crack one line at the injector pump and crank it. If you got fuel to the pump and a new pump it has to have some air in it. Pour some fuel right into the injector pump through the injector line at least 6 oz if it will take it. Well I am going to recommend something if you blow up DON'T SAY you weren't warned Take a propane torch do not light it crank it up and spray it in the intake while someone is turning over the truck. I have done it before on loaders that knuckleheads ran out of fuel, and cracking lines and pumping primers didn't help bleed the system. Don't smoke and make sure the battery isn't sparking. Let it air out for awhile if it doesn't start in about thirty seconds!
